Pakistani-American singer Ali Zaman plans to work for clearing misperceptions against Pakistan.
“Pakistan is a peace loving country and has a rich culture of love, brotherhood, and tolerance, and I will work to promote that side of the country,” he said, speaking at a press conference here on Sunday.
He said that he was releasing an album of English songs titled ‘Lesson in Beauty’ in Lahore, the United States and 130 other countries simultaneously.
He claimed that he was the only Pakistani singer releasing English songs and was proud of this distinction. “English models are also participating in my video shoots. A collaboration deal has also been finalized with Apple’s iTunes, Google Music, and Spotfiy,” he said, adding that he would “release Punjabi songs after the English and Urdu songs.”
He said that his album would help promote understanding between American and Pakistanis and bring them closer to each other.
