International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Task Force President Giles Clarke arrived in Pakistan for a two-day visit to the country.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan and other high-level officials welcomed Clarke upon his arrival in Lahore.
Strict security measures were taken at Lahore Airport upon Clarke’s arrival.
After his meeting with CM Punjab, the ICC official will meet PCB officials and will also talk to the media.
He is expected to meet government officials and discuss the return of the international cricket in Pakistan with them.
The task force chief will also review the security arrangements made by PCB for the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
