Dar did money laundering for Nawaz: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) Chief Imran Khan claimed that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had done money laundering for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

“Ishaq Dar had done money laundering for Nawaz Sharif. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman should have filed reference against him but he did not do so because he was appointed under a deal between Nawaz Sharif and the opposition. When Nawaz Sharif went outside the country then he turned approvers”, Imran said this while talking to media outside the Supreme Court (SC) after hearing of Panama case here on Friday.

Imran Khan said that Ishaq Dar thought that now Nawaz Sharif was going abroad and he would never come back therefore he became approver.

He held that Rs 1.2 billion were stolen and these were stolen 20 years back. ‘If today Panama Leaks case had not been in Supreme Court then such revelations would never have come to light’, he added.

Loss was shown in Hudaibiya paper mills and even transactions continued, he observed. Gen (retd) Musharraf also did NRO and Rehman Malik had investigated the matter. But deal was struck on Charter of Democracy, he remarked.

‘We are happy today that search was not conduced ever before in the history of the country the way it is being carried out at present. Whatever decision is given by SC we will accept it’, he added.

Replying to a question he said that National Assembly footage was before all of us. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was lying but some hooligans of Nawaz came forward to cover up his lie and one among them was Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, he added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should come in the National Assembly (NA) and explain his position in the context of his statement and speech.

While talking to the media here on Friday, he said that ministers have used abusive language for a national-level leader. He said the ministers have set an example of worst hooliganism and violence by misbehaving with elected representatives of the people. ‘If Prime Minister regards himself an elected prime minister then he is answerable to the nation’, he added.

He said, ‘We along with other opposition parties sought reply from PM over corruption and he delivered speech in the house and clarified his position’. His theft has been caught from the documents which came to light through foreign media and were filed in the court. ‘Our stance is being corroborated day by day that PM has lied in the parliament.

Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the letters of Qataris were coming for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rescue after Panama Leaks case.

“Lengthy letters from Qataris are coming to save Nawaz Sharif after Panama case. Such letters were not even written by Prince Saleem to Anarkali”, he said this while talking to media outside the Supreme Court (SC) here on Friday.

He said, ‘I congratulate you Nawaz Sharif that Qatari face is being seen in your all sales and purchases. LNG deal about which not even a crumb of information is provided is also a Qatari matter’.

‘Who is Pakistan ambassador in Qatar? He is not an employee of Foreign Office or civil servant but he is personal servant of Nawaz Sharif. Pakistan ambassador to Qatar was sent to work out LNG deal and frame fake documents, he held.
