Padmavati set turned into fortress to avoid security breach

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reportedly tightened security on the sets of his upcoming film Padmavati, in order to keep the looks of the cast under wraps.

The set has been turned into a fortress with a guard to stop trespassers, checking the bag and belongings of all those who enter.

“Sanjay has increased the security at the shoot. No camera or camera phones are allowed inside the sets. Even the actors are not allowed to carry their mobiles,” said a source from the set.

Shahid Kapoor – who will be essaying the role of a king in the film – will reportedly be seen in an all new avatar. Hence, Bhansali wants to keep his look a secret.

“Sanjay is planning a unique way to introduce the look of Raja Ratan Singh Rawal of Chittor and the Queen of Chittor (Shahid and Deepika Padukone) and their looks are outstanding,” the source added.

Padmavati also stars Ranveer Singh in a lead role.
