At least five suspects were nabbed during Rangers search operations in different areas of Karachi.
Sources said that the Rangers on Thursday carried out different operations in the areas of Jamshed Town, Lyari, New Karachi, Malair, Gulshan Iqbal and Nazimabad and arrested five suspects. Two of those arrested were affiliated with military wing of a political party and one was extortionist.
Arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession. Police said that these illegal weapons were used to carry out terrorists attacks in Karachi.
All the suspects were shifted to an undisclosed place for further interrogation.
