Case registered after torture, rape of minor maid confirmed in Gujranwala

A case has been registered against the house owners after the torture and rape of a minor maid was confirmed by a medical report the other day.

The development in the issue has come in after an action was taken by the government.

Earlier, sources said that the accused, identified as Imran, son of Chaudhary Ijaz, threw boiling water on his 12 years old house maid.

She received burns on her body and was shifted to District Headquarters in a precarious condition for first aid.

In her recorded statement she said that she belongs to a very poor family and did work in a house to run her family expenses, but the owners severely tortured her on daily basis.

In another similar case, Supreme Court (SC) has taken suo moto action against an additional session’s judge was brutally tortured his minor maid servant.

His wife, Maheen Zafar denied the allegations in statements recorded before the police.

The couple claimed that Tayyaba was treated like they treat their children.
