2016 had been the most tragic year for Quetta. In the past year, terrorists had been successful in making 63 attacks that claimed lives of at least 251 people. Mostly, lawyers, journalist and cadets were made target of the attacks. Despite being on a high alert, the security agencies had failed terribly. The provincial government must take immediate measures to prevent such heinous acts to efficiently counter terrorism in Quetta.
