The federal government has released over five billion rupees for welfare of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
FATA secretariat sources told Radio Pakistan that the amount would be spent on providing compensation to the tribal people whose houses were destroyed or damaged in terrorist activities.
The owner of each damaged house will be paid Rs 4,00,000 while partially damaged houses’ owners will get Rs. 1,60,000 each.
