The first coal loaded ship for the Sahiwal coal power project has reached Port Qasim.
The Sahiwal plant is expected to start production soon, with a goods train laden with coal leaving Port Qasim for Sahiwal on January 26.
Electricity generated through the Sahiwal coal power project will soon be added to the national grid.
