South Africa’s Pakistan-origin leg-spinner Imran Tahir paid tribute to the late Junaid Jamshed during the second T20 against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
Tahir, who was born in Lahore, celebrated his sole wicket in the match in his trademark style, only this time he also lifted his shirt to show a picture of Junaid, which was printed on his undershirt.
The singer-turned-preacher passed away on December 7 last year in a tragic air crash that also claimed the lives of 47 others.
