Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Karachi chapter has announced to hold a ‘Thank you Nawaz Sharif’ rally in Karachi to show gratitude for mega uplift projects completed in the city through the federal government,
PML-N leader Senator Nihal Hashmi while addressing a press conference in Muslim League House here said that the PML-N has served Karachi by giving it mega projects, adding that no other political party had served the city to this extent.
He harshly criticised the provincial and city government, saying there is nothing by the name of a government in Karachi. He said that everyone is busy with corruption and kickbacks and that no one is concerned about the issues of the mega city.
Hashmi said that Karachi had become a big garbage dump. “Traffic jams, poor public transport and other civic issues have perturbed the Karachiites. The PPP should take care of its home province Sindh before venturing for politics in Punjab,” Hashmi added.
He alleged that the corrupt rulers of Sindh were selling government jobs and were least concerned about the problems of the commons.
He announced that the ‘Thank you Nawaz Sharif’ rally would be held in Karachi on January 28.
