CM Murad lauds Navy’s nation building efforts

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah visited the newly established Bahria Model School of the Pakistan Navy at Khalid SRE near Younisabad on Monday.

The Pakistan Navy has built this Bahria Model School as part of its continuous efforts to promote quality education in underprivileged areas of Pakistan. The first academic session of the school will begin in March this year, which will accommodate almost 800 students up to matriculation, and the strength will be increased up to 1500 by the middle of this year. The school will be gradually upgraded to the level of an intermediate college and will offer quality education to more than seven thousand five hundred students of Younisabad, Kaka Pir, and other villages in close proximity. The school will also be equipped with modern, state of the art science laboratories. Bahria Model schools running under the Pakistan Navy are administered by the Pakistan Navy Educational Trust (PNET).

Upon his arrival, the chief minister was given a briefing on the newly established school and future plans for its up gradation.

He commended the establishment of Bahria Model School at Younisabad and lauded the Pakistan Navy’s contribution in nation building, besides defending the maritime frontiers of the country.
