The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) officials, while providing documents proofs of corruption and nepotism against each other to National Accountability Bureau (NAB), have expressed consent to be approver.
The sources said that former chairman Saeed Ahmed Khan violating rules and regulations not only had appointed his blue-eyed persons but also promoted them in next grade.
Former administration of OGRA was charged to give license of LNG terminal to Engro Company contrary to rules. Luqman Afzal, Sohail Tariq, Saeed Ahmed Khan, Afzal Bajwa and Yasin recorded their statements to NAB in this regard, however Rizwan-ul-Haq, Misbah, Abdul Basit could not be sought, the sources added.
One officer of OGRA has demanded of the NAB that former chairman Munir Ahmed Khan and vice chairman Dabirul Hassan should be included in investigation as corruption of billion of rupees has been committed during their period.
A reference has been forwarded to accountability court against former OGRA chairman Touqeer Sadiq who has been released on bail.
