Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Sindh government was committed to the welfare of the masses and all issues confronted by people were being resolved on priority basis.
Talking to media persons in Mehram Khan Nagor, district Naushahro Feroze, on the occasion of valima ceremony on Sunday, he said that recruitment of vacant posts in all departments will be made purely on the merit basis to ensure provision of decent employment opportunities to the youth.
Asif Ali Zardari would take part in by-election for joining the National Assembly and the party was firm on its stance he categorically said when asked if Zardari was contesting by-election from Nawabshah as he announced earlier.
Responding to another question regarding up-gradation of health and civic amenities in the district, the CM stated that Civil Hospital Naushaharo Feroze would soon be upgraded as a district hospital while decision about the Municipal Committee Naushahro Feroze would be taken after consideration of population and other relevant rules in the regard.
Zulfiqar Ali Behan, Chairman District Council Abdul Sattar Abbasi, Vice Chairman District Council Pir Qurban Ali, CM’s special assistant for Irrigation Babar Effandi, members of Sindh Assembly and other leaders and citizens were also present at the occasion.
