Over seven years after Akcent last performed in Pakistan, your favourite Romanian dance act is making a trip down to Karachi again! Very soon this time.
According to a post on Akcent’s official Facebook page, frontman Adrian Sina is performing on Friday, February 3.
The concert will be held at Karachi’s DA Golf Club. Ticket prices and vending locations will be announced later.
Akcent recently released the music video for his song ‘Amor Gitana’, so here’s hoping that he’s bringing a fresh set-list.
The band was last here in Pakistan when they performed in Islamabad in February 2016.
A few years ago, Romanian DJ Edward Maya had also performed in Islamabad. Akcent and Edward Maya have collaborated on many songs such as Stereo Love and Desert Rain.
Fake news of popular singers coming to Pakistan to perform has also made rounds in the past. Last year, it was reported that Shakira was set to perform in Lahore.
