Heavy vehicles including trucks, tractors, and tankers have been banned on Karachi’s major roads from 6 Am-11 pm, to avoid traffic jams.
The main thoroughfares and roads of Karachi are Jam Sadiq Bridge, Sunset Boulevard, Punjab Colony, Clifton and Boat Basin.
According to City Traffic Police, the entry of heavy vehicles was banned to avoid traffic jams and to facilitate the public going to offices, schools, colleges, so that their routine life is not affected due to traffic.
