Gas cylinder explosion injures eight in Haripur, Rawalpindi

At least six members of a family were seriously injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Kangra Colony of Haripur.

The gas cylinder blasted with big bang due to leakage in a house, leaving husband, his wife and their four children injured. Rescue team and police have reached the spot and shifted the victims to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile in Rawalpindi, a couple sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast within the Waris Khan police jurisdiction.

A gas cylinder blast occurred in a house located in Waris Khan, and later the fire and smoke engulfed the whole room, leaving two people injured.

The rescue teams reached the area and shifted the wounded to local hospital for medical treatment. The doctors stated that the injured were in critical condition.
