People of Punjab tired of ‘Takht-i-Lahore’: Imran Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan  on Sunday said the people of Punjab are tired of ‘Takht-i-Lahore’.

Addressing a rally in Dera Ghazi Khan, “You will quickly be free from these people,” he said, referring to the ruling party.

“There is one law for the powerful but another for the common man… Young boys are educated in seminaries and can’t progress in life,” he said.

“We will build a naya Pakistan in which boys who receive education can go onto become prime minister,” he vowed.

He announced his intention to “try and build” a Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in DG Khan.

“It takes a lot of work to build a cancer hospital,” he said.

“If you can’t find jobs, the government will help you find jobs. It is the government’s responsibility to give you social benefits as long as you are jobless,” he said.
