OGRA increases petrol prices by Rs1.77 per litre

Petrol prices have been increased by Rs1.77 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas, seeking hike in the price of petroleum products.

The prices had been finalised after the press conference of Ishaq Dar Sunday (today).

The summary has proposed to increase price of kerosene oil by Rs12/liter, high speed diesel by Rs5/liter and light speed diesel by Rs10/liter.

New petrol price will be Rs68.4.

Revised prices of petrol and diesel will be applicable immediately after the finalisation whereas those of high and light diesel will be valid from February 1.
