Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has suspended two SHOs and issued show-cause notices to four police officials over their poor performance.
The DIG took action while presiding over a meeting held at Police Lines Qilla Gujjar Singh to review the performance of police officials of the Cantonment Division here on Sunday.
The suspended police officials are Baghbanpura SHO Yasar Abbas, and Defence B SHO Zia Ullah.
The DIG issued a show-cause notice to Defence C SHO Ikram Khan for not effectively curbing the sale of illegal drugs.
He also issued notices to SHOs Manawan Nasrullah and Hadiara Safdar Abbas for their poor performance and demoted SHO Hair Muhammad Afzal.
