The Pakistan Army has cleared snow from the Lowari Tunnel and opened it for traffic, the Inter-service Public Relations (ISPR) department said.
Due to the army’s timely response last night, the road blockage was cleared and stranded passengers were able to pass through the tunnel.
A large number of people were stuck at Lowari Top in -20 C when the area received a snowstorm.
