Qatari Prince Sheikh Abdullah Al Qasim Al Hammed Al Thani along with his nephew on Tuesday attended the wedding ceremony businessman Zahid Al Hassan Khokher’s son at Rasul Village of Mandi Bahuddin.
Upon his arrival, Sheikh Abdullah received a warm welcome and was escorted to the wedding house in 4 wheeled chariot.
The Qatar prince mingled up with the villagers and expressed great pleasure being among Pakistani villagers. Local administration had made tight security arrangements on his arrival.
Talking to media, Sheikh Abdullah said, “Visa policy for Pakistanis was being relaxed for increasing business and contacts between people of both the countries.”
He said that he was under the impression that visiting Pakistan would be dangerous due to terrorism as reported in media.
“My impression has been proved wrong,” the prince said.
“People have won my heart by showing their love and sincerity coupled with a warm welcome,” he added.
He thanked his hosts and said he would not forget memories of his visit to Rasul and the exciting marriage function.
