While revealing the lineup of his films on New Year’s, Akshay Kumar asked fans for their love, support and luck.
“Busy summing up the year gone by? It’s time to not look back but look ahead. Here’s what my 2017 looks like. Your thoughts, love and luck needed,” he tweeted.
Kumar shared the list of the names of the films along with the pictures.
The first upcoming film is the sequel to the courtroom comedy and drama film Jolly LLB 2. The film featured Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor and directed by Subhash Kapoor.
One is easily convinced by the trailer that Kumar has dealt well with his comical corrupt lawyer role.
Toilet – Ek Prem Katha will be his second offering. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher and is stated to release on June 2.
Kumar will also be seen in a Tamil science-fiction action thriller 2.0 along with superstar Rajinikanth
In the film, which is being directed by Shankar, Rajinikanth plays a scientist and robot Chitti. Akshay plays the prime antagonist in the film, which will hit the screens worldwide on Diwali.
The fourth project that the actor has lined up for 2017 is Pad Man, said to be a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham which chronicles his journey of finding a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village.
