Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Marriyum Aurangzeb, on Saturday, asked the concerned authorities to make immediate arrangements for shifting Iftikhar Qaiser, a renowned TV artist, from Peshawar to PIMS, Islamabad, so that he can be provided with the best medical facilities and services.
Last night, Marriyum Aurangzeb had spoken to the ailing artist on the directions of Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, under the directives of Bait-ul-Mal Managing Director, Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh, authorities of Baitul-Mal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa handed over a cheque of Rs, 50,000 to famous TV artist, Iftikhar Qaisar.
Bait-ul-Mal MD also praised services of ailing Iftikhar Qaisar for the promotion of art and culture. He said that Bait-ul-Mal would bear the treatment expenses of the famous artist in any government hospital.
He said that it is our duty to take steps for the welfare of artists who dedicate their lives for promotion of culture and highlighting people’s problems through their work.
