Recently, the T.V. channels blacked out due to strike by cable operators thereby depriving the citizens of important daily news. It appears that the government’s plans are unravelling with agitations and strikes with no concern of the government of the day which is on the back foot defending itself bitterly. The citizens are suffering as a consequences of this upheaval. It is necessary that government appoints a spokesman to deal with the agitations but when the P.M. is busy in saving his own skin then who cares for other things like strike by T.V. cable operators. This is exposing government’s failures in policy making but to deprive the citizens by 24 hours news closure is a cruelty that is like the putting of a blanket on the daily happenings. Apparently, it is better for the government if people are not informed about daily happenings.
