A case has been registered on Friday against additional session’s judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan and his wife for alleged violence on his 10-year-old maid at the Industrial Area police station.
According to details, police found the maid, Tayyaba from a house in Sector I-9 after receiving complaints.
The FIR states that the judge and his wife had subjected her to torture for the last two years. In the latest spate of violence, the domestic servant was beaten up for losing a broom.
She further stated: “Mano Baji had put my hands on hot burner”.
Tayyaba revealed that her parents didn’t come to see her for two years.
The divisional magistrate sent the girl into government’s custody.
The Islamabad High Court Chief Justice took notice of the incident and asked for a report over the incident in two days. The IHC registrar has summoned the judge for an inquiry he is conducting.
