Two Indian army men were injured in brief shootout with Mujahideen in Hajin area of Bandipora district, on Thursday.

According to KMS, an official said that the injured troops were attacked during a siege laid by Indian army at Gulshanpora Mohalla of Shahgund area in Hajin in the early morning.

Both the injured were immediately shifted to a health facility where the condition of one of them, hit in the chest, is stated to be critical. The search operation was going on in the area till the last reports came in.
