An invaluable gift

Time-tested, all-weather sincere friend China has donated a very beautiful chandelier as an invaluable gift to the people of Pakistan which has since been unveiled and hoisted at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah   some days ahead of the birth anniversary celebrations on December 25.

President Mamnoon Hussain who unveiled the chandelier in the presence of Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong in Karachi describing this gift as yet solid proof of very warm and close friendship between the peoples of China and China said, as per reports in the media, China’s friendship is our precious asset and the gift of the chandelier is a beautiful symbol of this close friendship between the two neighbouring countries.

Chinese President Xi Jingping in his message, which was read out by the Chinese Ambassador on the occasion, expressed his delight over successful completion of China-aided chandelier project at the Mazar-e-Quaid  and termed it as an important symbol of friendship for generations between our two countries, and between our peoples. Further, he also talked about the friendship between the two countries which have always shared quite an enviable, close, warm and mutually-trust based relationship. And that this friendship serves the fundamental interests of our two countries and our people and contributes to peace and development of our region and the world at large.

The gift is indeed very invaluable as it has been donated by China for the mazar of the Quaid-i-Azam on the eve of his another birth anniversary celebrations by the ever-grateful nation quite enthusiastically and the government and people of Pakistan will always remain very much grateful and indebted to the government and people of China for it. Long live Sino-Pak friendship which is being further strengthened, promoted and cemented through timely, speedy and objective implementation of 46 billion dollars China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) comprehensive project across the country.
