Never underestimate the power of viral contentl: A picture of a stray dog wearing a full sleeve shirt on a chilly night in Karachi has gone viral on social media.
When Mohammad Belaal Imran was trying to take a picture of a stray dog in Bahadurabad, Karachi, he started to wonder why the stray was wearing a full sleeve shirt.
However, it is not the picture of the dog which touched the hearts of people, instead the story behind it. In a Facebook post, along with the picture of a young boy posing with the dog, Mohammad Belaal Imran wrote, “I saw this dog last night at Bahadurabaad wearing a full sleeves shirt and while i was trying to capture him this boy came calling Jaggu Jaggu and the dog went crazy after him.
“He started playing with him which was unbelievable as i never saw a stray dog playing like he was with this kid who feeds him everyday and he is the one who gave Jaggu his shirt to wear because its cold.”
The picture received numerous likes and shares as it touched hearts of many. The picture describes how happy both, the dog and the boy are together, despite their circumstances.
Belaal, along with his friend has set up a Go Fund Me page for the two, and have successfully raised about $322.
“Funds raised here will be used to give the Boy and the Dog proper clothing, food, shelter as well as medical care for both these best friends,” the page read.
“Any excess funds will be use to set up a Bank Account for this Street Kid so that he can be sent to school and will be put towards getting Jaggu the Dog look at thoroughly by a Vet.
“Please pay-it-forward as this random boy with nothing has so much kindness to give and his actions teach a lesson to all.”
