In an impressive and striking demonstration of operational preparedness, the frontline combat unit of the Pakistan Navy (PN) undertook live missile firing in the North Arabian Sea on Tuesday.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah oversaw the demonstration from aboard a ship.
A surface to surface anti-ship missile was launched from Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Aslat, a sword class frigate. The missile successfully destroyed its intended target with pinpoint accuracy reaffirming the weapon’s lethality and the offensive punch of the Pakistani fleet.
Admiral Zakaullah expressed complete satisfaction with the operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy. The Naval chief stated that the live missile firing reaffirms the credibility of deterrence at sea and reassures the navy’s commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s maritime frontiers against all threats.
The successful missile firing by the Pakistan Navy is reflective of its state of readiness and professionalism. It also demonstrated the efficacy and lethality of modern weapon systems operated by the Pakistan Navy.
