NA session to be held today

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to raise the issue of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s explanation over his contradictory remarks in the National Assembly session which will take place on Tuesday (today).

On Monday, a war of words was exchanged between PTI and ruling party regarding Panama leaks issue.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Daniyal Aziz compared PTI’s chaos in the House with the broken tail of a lizard whereas Shah Mehmood Qureshi went with the catchphrase ‘Prime Minister’s Ferrari’.

Shireen Mazari was not only criticised by the government members but also by the speaker as well.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan firstly advised the speaker to begin an adult education programme for the opposition members and then sought time for briefing on National Action Plan (NAP).

Following that, the Senate session will be held at 2 PM.
