Murad Ali Shah pays surprise visit at Tughlaq House

Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday paid a surprise visit at Tughluq House, which used to be the Sindh Secretariat, and checked the officers’ muster roll and their attendance.

The chief minister visited the offices of all the departments housed in Tughlaq House, according to a statement released by the Sindh government.

All the secretaries were present but some other officers were yet to turn up at their posts.

Murad Ali Shah directed Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon, who was accompanying him, to issue the show cause notices to the absentees.

The CM was received by the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) Chairman Almuddin Bullo, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Waseem, and Agriculture Secretary Saeed Mangnejo among others.

He visited all floors and expressed his displeasure at the heaps of old files and broken furniture lying in the corridors. He directed the chief secretary to issue a notice for the removal of the files from the corridor and for the building to be kept orderly.
