Can’t claim that we brought ‘Humma Humma’ back: Aditya Roy Kapur

Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor have won our hearts with their chemistry and sizzling steps in The Humma Song from Ok Jaanu.

Ever since the song has released, we have just not been able to unhook ourselves from it.

According to the Indian Express, the actors are sure about the fact that they are not bringing the song back as the original Humma song never really lost its essence.

“I don’t think Humma ever went away. Humma has always been there. I don’t think we can never claim to bring it back or anything,” Aditya said in ‘The Humma Song’ making video, which was released by the makers.

He further added that for him choosing anyone would be very difficult because both the songs have their own essence and place.

The Humma Song has been sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Shashaa Tirupati. The song pays tribute to AR Rahman and his iconic classic number, Humma Humma

The choreography of the song, which had us drooling over Shraddha and Aditya’s moves, has been done by Vaibhavi Merchant. With the song crossing over 19 lakh views on YouTube, it is for sure that unlike other revamps, this old wine in new bottle is getting loads of love from across the nation, heading to become a party starter. The makers of the film have now prepping up for the release of the title track. Meanwhile, they have announced a contest too.

Ok Jaanu, a remake of Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani, will release on January 13th of 2017.
