Patrind Power project of 147 megawatts in Kashmir will be completed soon.
AJK Minister for Power, Raja Nisar Ahmad Khan while talking to different delegations in Mirpur said that Kashmir needed 350MW electricity. The ongoing hydel power projects in Kashmir on completion will add power to national grid which will help in solving power crises in the country.
He said PML (N) government in Pakistan has principally agreed to provide hydel power projects royalty, water user’s charges and taxes to the AJK government.
