Health Department team conducted a raid on King Pharmaceutical at Sundar Industrial Estate Multan Road and seized a huge quantity of material purchased illegally.
An action was taken against the factory owners under different sections of Drug Act 1976 and the factory was sealed.
According to the details, extremely low quality and unhygienic water had been used and cleanliness arrangements were unsatisfactory.
Later, Primary and Secondary Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir reached the spot and appreciated the performance of the raiding team. He said that the elements involved in the heinous trade of substandard and spurious medicines will not be spared and the operation against this evil business will be continued till its complete elimination.
