Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sunday (today) said that former President Asif Ali Zardari to return to the country on December 23 after self- imposed exile.
while addressing a press conference here, he said that his father will return to the country before the death anniversary of deceased mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
“Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari will return to Karachi on December 23, his [Zardari’s] return will facilitate implementation of the four demands earlier set forth by the party .”
The PPP wants the enactment of the Panama Papers Inquiries Bill, 2016; implementation of the all parties’ conference’s recommendations pertaining to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC); a parliamentary committee for oversight of the National Action Plan and appointment of a full-time foreign minister.
According to senior party leaders, he is likely to address on the martyrdom anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
