According to the Chief Minister of Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri, the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had laid foundation of rapid development and prosperity in Pakistan. Now CPEC is believed to be a game changer and will bring umpteenth prosperity, growth, development and a mega project full of benefits. CPEC is full of opportunities for the unemployed people as it is estimated that more than 700,000 people will get direct job opportunities which will contribute 7 percent of overall GDP of the country. In spite of that, many constructions are being done in Gwadar including Gwadar airport which will cost 250 million, going to be completed in 2019. The other beneficial projects include construction of East Bay Express way, $100 million 150 bedded hospital by the Pak-China friendship hospital and Gwadar water supply scheme installation of 300 MW power project plants. I request the current government of Balochistan should that CPEC should also benefit the poor people of Balochistan.
