Dr Mujahid Kamran, VC of the Punjab University, is finally on his way out.
The former intrepid IJT member was, ironically, the one responsible for getting the infamous network of student muscle out of the varsity campus.
Or did he? Word’s around that he might have a trick up his sleeve: that if he was the one who got them out, he will also be the one who can get them right back in.
The fumigation, if rumours are to be believed, wasn’t exactly thorough in the first place.

After Imran Khan didn’t get what he wanted from the Supreme Court, he made another U-turn and went back to the parliament, despite having made clear earlier that he won’t go near the place as long as Nawaz Sharif is around.
With absolutely no plan of action in sight within the party, there is much confusion within the ranks of its elected members at the national level as to what to do next. Expect more in this space in the coming weeks. There’s a lot that could be coming apart.
