An extremist was killed and six others were arrested with arms during the search operation of Frontier Corps (FC) here on Friday.
A FC spokesman said that the paramilitary troops conducted operation against the militants in Mand area of District Kech. The extremists present in the area offered strong resistance which led to an encounter.
In retaliatory firing of FC, an extremist was killed while six others were apprehended with weapons.
