A notorious robber was killed while his two accomplices managed to escape after a police encounter in Kasur on Thursday.
The encounter took place in Khudian Khas locality of district Kasur where police came across the three-member gang of robbers. In cross firing a notorious robber wanted by police in more than 34 criminal cases was killed while his two accomplices fled from the scene.
A body of the robber killed in the encounter was shifted to mortuary of local hospital for post-mortem.
