Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday dismissed the petition seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza heard the case lodged by a local citizen, who alleged PM Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif of corruption.
He said that the premier has also appointed crooked leaders in federation and Punjab government’s every department.
The plaintiff urged the authorities to disqualify the CM and the prime minister, as they don’t match the clauses of articles 62 and 63 of the constitution.
Subsequently, the court rejected the plea by declaring it inadmissible.
