A female school teacher was scorched in acid attack over personal grudge and her 30 per cent body was burnt here on Thursday (today).
Police said that accused Murtaza hurled acid on female school teacher while she was on her way to perform duty in Chiniot’s Shamas Town . The woman was scorched in the acid attack on her right arm and about 30 percent other body parts were burnt.
The acid attack victim lady was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Police said that the affected woman had lodged a fraud case against the accused which led to the heinous crime.
The police after registering a case against the accused at largely started raids for his arrest.
