Under directions of the Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar crackdown is underway against illegal manufacturing of drugs to arrest the menace of spurious and non-licensed drugs across the country.
In this regard, a company in Karachi raided by Federal inspection team, which was reported to be involved in the illegal manufacturing of spurious and counterfeit drugs.
Large quantities of finished drugs, in process materials and packaging materials, were seized.
The Minister for National Health Services has asked the concern departments to institute a system of zero tolerance for spurious drugs and to eradicate this menace from the country and safeguard the health of the people.
