NAB receives documentary evidences against ex Sindh education minister

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has received documentary evidences against corruption case of Sindh ex-provincial educational minister Mazhar-ul-Haq regarding his illegal appointments in the teaching department.

Mazhar ul Haq, who was also known as a philanthropist in Sindh, has allegations of corruption after illegal hirings of thousands of unemployed youth.

Sindh government already set up a committee to investigate the issue which also termed this act as illegal. NAB has initiated investigation against ex education minister after receiving data record from Sindh government.

The elder brother of ex-minister was also behind bars in corruption of millions of rupees, while his ex-wife and Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson, Farzana Raja, had also faced corruption charges.
