Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has demanded immediate announcement of National Finance Commission Award to enable the provinces to prepare their programmes accordingly.

He was talking to media persons after laying the floral wreath at the grave of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here on Sunday.

He said that final touches were being given to the programme for observing the death anniversary of the former prime minister.

The Chief Minister made it clear that the provincial cabinet was not being reshuffled and reports in this connection were baseless. He said former President Asif Ali Zardari is out of the country due to health reasons and party’s Central Executive Committee would decide about the return of the former President.

He expressed his satisfaction with the law and order situation in Karachi and termed it as exemplary. He said as the mega city’s population is around 20 million, there would be some problems. He said as no census has been conducted, the exact population is not known.
