Eid Milad offers retrospection for sublime values: PM

The Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace be upon him) remind us the golden principles of Islam which were practically illustrated in the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

He said in a message on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul- Awwal.

“This day make us retrospect over the significance of lofty values of sacrifice, tolerance, brotherhood and unity among the ummah,”

He said the Muslims could succeed by following the supreme teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

He said the 12th Rabi-ul- Awwal ended the history of inhumanity, oppression, tyranny, ignorance, injustice and deviation from the right path by purifying the human civilisation with the characteristics of dignity and forgiveness, the sanctity of culture, and, widening the scope of knowledge and thinking.

The PM further said that the holy month of Rabi-ul- Awwal is the month of love and affection for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Pakistan had always been a land of affection and devoted followers.

He stressed that the sublime way of life led by the Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) should be followed fully at the individual and collective level.

“On this day, we should reiterate our resolve to work for the progress and prosperity of the nation and the motherland,” he added.

He urged the nation to stand with the armed forces of the country that had been offering grand sacrifices in the operation Zarb-e- Azb and on the other fronts.
