Panama Leaks issue being buried: Qadri

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on Saturday said that the Panamagate issue is being buried once for all as the case is being wrapped up in shroud.

Talking to media after convocation of his university, he said, “It is snub to the Parliament to call the prime minister’s speech political,” adding the statement by the PM’s counsel was an abundant proof that system has failed.”

The contradictions in the statements of PM Nawaz Sharif have sufficiently been proved, he clarified adding that Panama Leaks case would commit a suicide if an inquiry commission is formed on the issue.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri called the democracy prevalent in the country as monarchy, as according to him, neither elections were held here nor it was any constitutional government.

“We will continue protesting over Model Town tragedy and proceed with the protest against the June 17 carnage in complete accordance with our strategy,” he elaborated.

Responding to a query if he has any plan for a protest demonstration, he said, “I do not want to waste energy of my workers on an inopportune time.”
