Bilawal endorses Sindh govt’s demand for including KCR in CPEC

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has endorsed the demand of the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Shah for including Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project in China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the city is catering to people from all over Pakistan and under the intense need of smooth public transport.

CM called the Chairman on Friday to offer congratulations on the successful holding of week-long celebrations of 49th Foundation Day at the Party held in Bilawal House, Lahore.

On the occasion, Chief Minister informed the Chairman that he has forwarded the demand of including the long-pending KCR in the CPEC before the Federal Government.

Bilawal said that Sindh government’s demand was genuine and the federal government should accept this demand. This would be very beneficial for the commercial hub of the country.

Shah also briefed him about the ongoing development schemes and law and order situation in the province, especially in its capital.

Bilawal eulogised the Sindh government and law enforcing agencies for improving law and order situation, and, stressed that all the development schemes should be completed in time without any delay.
