Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, will visit Bahrain on 10 December 2016, for a two days visit, to attend ‘The Manama Dialogue’, in which more than 20 counties are participating. Manama Dialogue is being organised jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain and British think tank, International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS).
The Crown Prince of Bahrain, Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will inaugurate the event. Besides ministerial level participation from several important countries, leading international opinion makers, experts, heads of organisations, international media will also take part in the dialogue.
Sartaj Aziz will be a keynote speaker on 11th December at Manama Dialogue. He will present Pakistan’s perspective on prevailing and emerging security challenges facing the region and the world at large. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Javed Malik would be organising the adviser’s bilateral meetings with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, and ministers of other countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Canada. Sartaj Aziz will also meet the secretary general of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
