Kamran Akmal has requested the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who also happens to be the Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), to consider his name for the national team.

Kamran Akmal said that he has played outstandingly in domestic cricket and deserves a chance to comeback in Pakistan team.

“Those players who are not performing well in the team should be excluded,” he demanded.

Kamran Akmal said he strongly feels that he is being neglected by the selectors despite his wonderful performance.

“I acknowledge the fact that Sarfraz Ahmed is performing well as wicket-keeper, but selectors should consider me as a specialist batsman”, said the cricketer in his request to PM.

Kamran Akmal has displayed exceptional batting skills in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and his team, WAPDA, has qualified for the final match that will be played against HBL.

He is also the top run-scorer of the tournament with over a thousand runs, five centuries and three half-centuries in eight matches.

Kamran Akmal demanded that his case should be treated on merit.
